Outcome: Evidence found insufficient to support probable cause for OVI arrest; motion to suppress granted and OVI charge dismissed.
State v. Romage, 10th Dist. No. 11AP-822, 2012-Ohio-3381
Outcome: The Tenth District Court of Appeals unanimously affirmed the trial court ruling in our favor dismissing the charge against our client and finding the applicable statute -- ORC 2905.05(A) -- unconstitutional.

Previous Employment
Prior to founding Riddell Law, Mr. Riddell served as a Public Defender in Franklin County, Ohio. In that position, he represented low-income defendants in criminal proceedings, including handling hundreds of criminal misdemeanor and DUI/OVI cases during his tenure. As a public defender, Mr. Riddell gained significant experience representing clients in both jury and bench trials, gaining the critical skills necessary to navigate the criminal justice system on behalf of his clients.
