There have been a number of experiences that have made me be a better attorney - whether it be learning from my mentors, listening to judges, attendling CLE's or just practicing law each and every day.
Our law firm is unique in that we offer a one stop shop for clients for all of their legal needs in the areas in which we practice. As it relates to family law, we can handle prenuptial agreements, divorces, custody disputes, determination of spousal support/and or child support, step-parent adoptions, and post-decree motions such as contempts and modifications. As it relates to real estate, not only does our practice handle transactional work (i.e. drafting and reviewing contracts, drafting and reviewing leases, drafting and reviewing loan documents, setting up entities, etc.), but our office also handles full-fledged civil litigation as well.
Outside of the practice of law, I love spending time with my husband, our two children, and our dog. We enjoy playing tennis, golf and riding bikes with each other
I am very active in our community. Currently, I am the Chairperson for the Columbus Bar Association Real Property Committee for the 2019/2020 year, a mentor in the Ohio Supreme Court Lawyer to Lawyer Mentoring Program, and a member of Columbus Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and Ohio Women's Bar Association. I am also a girl scout troop leader, the fundraising chair for the PTO at Cassingham Elementary, a volunteer at Meals on Wheels, a Member of the Bexley Women's Club and the prior publicity chair for the Bexley House and Garden Tour 2018-2020. Additionally, I was a member of the Women's Board for March of Dimes, 2017 and 2018, a Founding Member of Strike Out Thyroid Cancer, 2009-2013, and a Runway Participant for Canine Companions for Independence, 2017.

In 2019, after years of work handling the case law updates for the Real Property Committe through the Columbus Bar Association, I was nominated and appointed as the Chairperson for the 2019-2020 year. In addition to leading the meetings for the Real Property Comittee, I have been asked to speak at a number of engagements, including continuing legal education and events held through Columbus Divorce Solutions, the Mother Ship, Inc. and COREE creative finance focus group. I also serve as a mentor in the Ohio Supreme Court mentoring program where I am honored to help other lawyers achieve their career golas. Further, in 2019, I applied for and was accepted into the Ohio Women's Bar Foundation Leadership Institute which is a 6-month program assisting lawyers in developing their leadership skills, which I have used to enhance my practice and advance my career. I was also selected for inclusion in the Trademark Women of Distinction 2019 Honors Edition for demonstrating dedication, leadership and professional excellence.
