We tend to see people at their worst, when they are under emotional and financial stress but, by the end of the case, most clients are much better off, and much happier. It is incredibly rewarding to help real people with real problems, and the results we achieve have real meaning and impact on our clients lives.

My ideal client is one who is interested in being involved in his/her case. The attorney-client relationship is very much a partnership of equals, and neither can operate at their best without the complete attention and assistance of the other.

What I enjoy the most is spending time with my wife and our three young children. Work is demanding, and family law cases can be very difficult and taxing, but nothing wipes away all of the stress like walking though the door at the end of the day and seeing those smiling faces. In addition to family, traveling, red wine, tennis and skiing are the hobbies I enjoy the most.

I am extremely proud of my service to the Central Ohio community. This community has been very good to my family, and we have a strong belief in giving back whenever possible. It's easy to make a donation, but making a difference is much more challenging (and much more rewarding). Currently, I sit on the Board of Directors of Wexner Heritage Village and the Columbus Jewish Day School.
